Proceeds from sales (after overheads are paid, and these are minimal because we operate with volunteers) are distributed to local charities.
Eva's Attic will make every effort to sell your items for a good price. If you can indicate their value when you donate them that would be helpful.

Eva's Attic operates as a Not for Profit Charitable Venture. We will make every effort to sell your item at a good price but if for any reason we cannot we will donate it to another charitable organisation.

Who is Eva?
Eva Doucas (Margaret's mother) was a gentle lady who was born on Greece in troubled times.
In 1922 Eva fled the burning of Smyrna. Much of her childhood and early adulthood in the 1940's was spent in poverty as a displaced person but she was fortunate enough to eventually arrive in New Zealand.
She was accepting of her lot and very sympathetic of others in difficult circumstances, always giving something to charity.
Probably because of her early experiences she valued beauty and generosity she set a good example of valuing the earth's resources and practiced recycling all her life.
